Scholarship/Fin Aid Information
Hi everyone,
I am compiling a list of resources for where you can access scholarship information for the schools you are looking at attending below.
Remember the most important thing is that you complete a 2023-2024 FAFSA first as a number of scholarships will be awarded based on that information. The FAFSA for 2023-2024 opens on October 1, 2022. Below I will link to the FAFSA and in each school's info I will also include the FAFSA Code for that school.
I am including the ones listed from the responses but if you need another school please let me know and I will help you find that info. I will also link to a national search for scholarships below as well.
As always, if you have any questions at all please do not hesitate to ask.

ETSU Bridge Impact on Scholarships Elsewhere
Upward Bound has been made aware of the fact that some Tennessee colleges and universities may consider you a transfer student if you participate in the Bridge program at ETSU and this could lead to impact on your scholarship awards.
We have confirmed that this will have no impact on your TN HOPE or TN Promise eligibility.
As of now we are recommending that students continue with Bridge as if they were going to participate as they await their scholarship and financial aid awards for Fall 2023. If you receive a scholarship for Fall 2023, let us know as soon as possible and we will reach out to your school for confirmation about the impact of taking Bridge classes.
FSA ID and FAFSA
Completing your FAFSA can be an intimidating challenge, however it can also be a simple process so long as you are prepared.
To being your FAFSA you and your parents/guardians will need to make an FSA ID, you can do so HERE (pro tip do not use a school email to create this account or any Financial Aid accounts, use a personal email such as Gmail, Outlook, Ymail, etc.).
Once you have your FSA IDs ready you will need important tax documents such as your 1040, W-2, documents from social security (if needed), and other tax information. When you begin the FAFSA process there will be many tips in the green i icon that will help show you where the information they are asking for may be located in your documents.
You will also need to list the schools that you are planning to attend after high school, doing so by entering the FAFSA Code for that school. Below I have listed many codes for schools that previous Bridge students have attended, if you need information from another school please let me know.
To begin your FAFSA (when you are ready) you can go HERE
