Super Amazing Swordfish
Slashing their prey with their scary sword
Introduction
When you think of a swordfish, do you think of misunderstood animals because of their scary sword? Or do you think of killing animals, with the ocean under their control? Well if so both of them are wrong. They are just in between. They don’t need your attention, and they don’t control the sea. (If the Great White Shark and the killer whale go extinct, then they will rule the sea.)
Looks and features
Swordfish are not too complicated, they have a sword, and are blue on the top, and white on the bottom. It might not seem like it but, the blue on the top is to blend into the dark ocean ground. Say for example, a fisherman is looking for a fish, and the blue can blend in. Same with the white. If a shark or killer whale is looking up, it can be hard to see him.
Foods
Swordfish are not picky eaters , they eat bluefish, mackerel, hake herrington, and even squid and octopus. So that means that they are carnivores. All of those fish and mollusks can be eaten easily, but they can use their sword to slash bigger fish. And they have to eat daily which means it's pretty easy to weigh as much as 650 sugar bags.
Habitat
The swordfish has many homes, they live in the Atlantic, the Pacific, and of course, the Indian Ocean. They seem to like warmer waters in the winter and colder in summer. The Great Barrier Reef is a great place to find swordfish. Its warm and has all the food a swordfish can ask for.
