OLVCS Updates
Led By the Spirit......................... December 18, 2019
Good afternoon,
Last week I mentioned that Christmas is in the air; as we approach the end of the week we can say it is all around us at OLVCS. Sitting at my desk as I type up the Updates, I hear the 3rd grade practice for their play, what a joyful sound filling the school.
Tomorrow is the annual 3rd grade Christmas performance, starting at 1:15 in the school gym, all are welcome.
Today at Mass, Fr. Dadey reminded us to remember that Jesus is the most important part of Christmas, and the reason we have this celebration. He asked that all of us ask the question, "What are we going to give to Jesus?" His suggestion was to give gifts from the heart, a simple act of kindness each day. What a great reminder.
Finally, I want to wish you Peace and Joy for Christmas and throughout the new year. We will see the students back on January 2nd.
Make it a Great Day!
~ Mrs. Weakland
P.S. Friday is an Out of Uniform day. (aka Dress Down Day)
