Earth
Earth, our home planet, is the third planet from the Sun. It is the fifth largest planet in our solar system. It has one moon. Earth has volcanoes, mountains and valleys. You know all of that! But there's way more that you don't, more that you seek to learn. If that's you, you've come to the right place 'cause here are the basics of the earth.
Survival on Earth
How do we survive? Because of the air, blah, blah, we know that. But did you know that the air is made of nitrogen, oxygen and a little carbon dioxide - just right for us to breathe. Earth is home to people, plants and animals because it has both water and the right kind of atmosphere.
Climate
Hot summer days may be quite typical of climates in many regions of the world, but global warming is causing Earth's average global temperature to increase. The amount of solar radiation, the chemistry of the atmosphere, clouds, and the biosphere all affect Earth's climate.
