Transcript Review:
WHAT IS A TRANSCRIPT?
- A transcript is a record of every class you've completed at ERHS, through Norco College's Dual Enrollment, and other institutions for which you've submitted an official transcript for.
- You can find your transcript in Student Connect under Student Documents.
- GPA information can be found in the yellow box.
- All ERHS classes are worth 5 credits.
- You should have 30 credits each fall/spring semester and up to 10 credits each summer.
- At this time, you should have at least 30 credits to be on track.
- You need 220+ credits to graduate.
- Along with credits students must fulfill subject requirements (in red below) in order to graduate.
- The only way to miss credits is to earn an F in a class (D is considered passing but will not meet a-g minimum requirement).
eSTEM Academics Review
- STEM students are ERHS students and must fulfill the same requirements for a high school diploma.
- STEM students have summer classes planned already (Health/PE/Art)
- If you are in Band or a Sport, you are likely required to take regular World History A and regular World History B over summer to make room in your schedule for your band or sports class.
- STEM students follow the STEM 4 Year Plan which includes high school graduation requirements, a-g requirements, and STEM requirements.
- ALL students are guaranteed a total of 6 classes.
*The STEM 4 year Plan includes: ERHS Grad requirements, A-G and STEM requirements.**
10th Grade Course Selection Sheet:
IMPORTANT:
Students will select 6 courses below, one from each course type.
*We support ALL students who wish to challenge themselves to take AP/Honors courses, especially if they have demonstrated their interest to enroll. At the same time, we prioritize students’ well-being and strive to ensure a balanced course load. A course load that allows your student to devote necessary time to each course as colleges look for quality over quantity.*
PE placement is based on 9th grade PE Fitness exam results.
- Students who do pass the PE fitness exam in spring 2024 will be eligible to take PE during summer school.
- Students who do not pass the PE fitness exam in spring 2024 will need to take PE in 10th grade during the school year's schedule.
Math placement is based on your current 9th grade math class AND grade earned.
- A grade of a C- or higher is needed to move to the next level math.
- Only students who have earned an A (A+, A, A-) in the first semester of Integrated Math 2 Enhanced AND have a teacher recommendation can select AP PreCalculus next year.
Online Course Selection:
You will have access to complete your course selection online through Student Connect from
January 22nd-February 12th

- The eSTEM electives you select are requests. We cannot guarantee that the courses you select will be in your final schedule.
- You will add a total of 6 classes and 12 requests. Be sure to enter the semester 1 AND semester 2 course for each class (for example: Robotics 1A and Robotics 1B).
- Your counselor will review your transcript, graduation, a-g, and STEM requirement status to determine what courses you MUST take. This is what we will discuss together in your ELA class.
- If you want to take HEALTH Online, notify your counselor when you meet individually.
- PE placement is based on Fitness Exam results.
