Osterizer
September 5, 2021
USD is pleased to share that we are partnering with healthcare professionals to provide regular, optional student testing at USD school sites starting mid-September. This new partnership with Grapefruit COVID Testing adds an additional layer to our safety protocols in order to continue to support healthy learning environments in USD.
We will be hosting an online Town Hall meeting with doctors from Grapefruit COVID Testing who will explain the optional COVID-19 testing program that will be available to all Union School District students attending school on campus. Only students whose parents/guardians authorize the testing would participate, and parents will receive secure same-day results.
A Zoom link will be emailed to all families and posted on the District website prior to the meeting next Wednesday.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, a recording of it will be available and will be shared with all families.

Help Needed Now!
We have lots of fun events planned for the year, and need some help from our wonderful community of families to make this happen. We are looking for volunteers to help with our annual Education Fund drive, which takes place in the Fall, as well as the Silent Auction that will take place in January. If you are interested in volunteering for these two events, please reach out to Samantha at osterhsc@gmail.com and information regarding a virtual meeting will be shared with you. We will also have need for many more volunteers later in the year, so please visit our website and check out all of our volunteer opportunities.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to working with you
