Students have been researching online and are learning about the different adaptations animals have to help them survive in their habitat. This week students will also be writing about the differences and similarities between the octopus, penguin, and the camel.
- Comprehension: Students are working on stopping and asking and answering questions about different texts in order to show that they understand what they are reading.
- Fluency: The ability to read a text accurately, quickly, and with expression. This week students will be practicing their reader's theatre text as part of small group reading. Students will practice reading through the text many times and working on reading with expression to represent the character they are from the script.
