Central Jr/Sr High School: April 20th
Upcoming Events
Monday, April 22nd
ZAP Continues. All assignments marked as !MISSING in the Powerschool gradebook will be referred to the ZAP Program. A Missing Assignment Report will pulled prior to 10:00 a.m. each Monday morning. Notifications will be delivered to students & an email/phone call sent to students/guardian. To get signed out of ZAP, students will need to complete the assignment with full effort, fill out a green get out of ZAP form located at the office window and have the teacher sign the form between passing periods/before-after school/during the class you are zap'd for and then return it to the office.
JH Eligibility continues. Parents/guardians of any JH student who currently has a failing (F) grade will be notified of in-eligibility via mail.
12th Grade RISE Family Field Trip - Seniors gone from approximately 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Lunch & Movie Time.
WIN TIME: Students go to RISE TIME CLUB GROUPS remainder of school year. Each day during WIN Time, students should be working on homework or reading a library book. Students may get a note from a teacher they need to meet with for homework help IN ADVANCE.Students will not be allowed to go to other teachers or places without a note. Once all homework is done, students are signed out of zap, have studied for tests, etc. groups might work in your Rise Clubs at least 1x per week.
WIN TIme: Complete student survey for Leader in Me if you haven't already.
Baseball/Softball @ Home vs. CVD. 4:00 p.m. Dismiss 2:30 p.m. to dress out.
Tuesday, April 23rd
SAGE Fieldtrip to Dexter/Winfield
ZAP Intervention Program - Library 3:55 - 4:55 p.m.
HS Track @ Central. 3:00 p.m. HS Track dismiss around 2:10 p.m. Senior Night - Track seniors/families recognized after 4x100m races. Baseball/Softball/8th Grade Track Workerlist dismiss at 2:45 p.m. JH Track students who are helping with the track meet may need to stay until field events are completed at approximately 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, April 24th
Senior Exit Interviews (IPS)
RISE Time: Last 10 minutes (wait for annoucement) - meet in storm shelter to celebrate State Band "I" ranking & display plaque and treat to celebrate completion of state assessments and growth in 3rd quarter star360.
ZAP Intervention Program - Library 3:55 - 4:55 p.m.
Thursday, April 25th
9th & 10th Grade Rise Family Field Trip to Camp Horizon. 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Students need to dress to be active and outside all day, bring bug spray and sun screen, and don't forget sack lunch if you marked you were bringing your own. Staff going: Condon, Braun, Whitehill, Parsons, Mettling, Groene, LaBrue.
