Boosterthon
Vernfield Home and School organized a fun-filled Dance-A-Thon to help raise money for field trips, school activities and more. Students could be seen dancing, jumping, twisting and having a grand time. Thank you, Home and School, for all your hard work to make this a successful event!

Read Across America is coming to Vernfield from March 4 - 8th, 2024.

Lip Sync Update
Lip Sync is just 2 weeks away!
The deadline to upload your music to the DJ is TODAY! Please use the instructions below to get your music to the DJ if you haven’t already!

This link should be used to upload songs that have already been edited down to 90 seconds and are ready to play.
If you need help editing your song, please contact the DJ, Dan Phillips, directly and he will edit your song for a fee of $5. Email him to arrange editing and payment. phillipsandsmith@gmail.com
Not performing this year? Come watch the show and cheer on your friends on Friday March 15th at Indian Crest Middle School. The show begins at 7:00 and will be tons of fun!
We will be accepting donations of diapers size NB - 6 and/or wipes. The donations will go to
Fostering Hope Bucks.

Join us for a FREE evening out with your (currently enrolled) Vernfield K, 1st, or 2nd grader. This years theme is “A Night at the Theatre”, as we host the Walnut Street Theatre.

- Check-in starts at 5:45pm
- Craft in the pods 5:45 - 6:30pm
- Show starts promptly at 6:30pm

Important Event Information:
This event will be a busy night and we are expecting a large crowd. Please read and follow below expectations:
-Please stay with your child during the entire event.
-After check in please take your child to their grade pod, and retrieve a craft. Parents are expected to do the craft with their child.
-Children should only leave their pod to go to the restroom with their parent or when their pod is called to go to the gym for the show.
-Please help your child retrieve their one snack tray before the show from our volunteers.
-Snacks will be provided at specified time - one per child.
-Parents are expected to supervise the behavior of their children during the event.
-Parents are expected to sit with their child during the play to help them stay focused on the performance.
-Unlike a movie, the actors are performing in front of you. They can see everything that you do, making noise during the performance distracts the actors and others around you.
-If you arrive late, please enter the show quietly and sit in the back of the group. Do not allow your child to try and find their friends.
-Don’t bring electronics to the performance. The use of cell phones, cameras, computers, tablets, and video game devices are not allowed.
-Stay in your seat during the performance. Make sure you go to the bathroom before the show starts.
-Please help your child throw their trash away from their snack.
-Do not allow your child to wonder into closed areas of the building.
-Do not allow your child to leave the building without you during the event.

Save the Date - Earth Day
Vernfield Earth Day Activities will be held on Friday, April 19th during the day.
The Earth Day Planning Committee is requesting a lot of parent volunteers to run our 7 outdoor Earth Day stations, including trail maintenance, games and crafts.
If you are able to help for a portion of the day, or the full day, please mark your calendar! More information will be sent out in the coming weeks regarding volunteer opportunities.
