desert snakes
There are many varieties of rattlesnakes and sidewinders, and many these vanomous snakes are quite different from our common notion of what a rattlesnake looks like, based on the western diamondback rattlesnake.

kangaroo rat
Habitat- Kangaroo rats inhabit a variety of desert niches. These can include open desert scrub, open grasslands, washes, sandy soils or creosote flats.
Range-Kangaroo rats are found in the drier regions of the western and southwestern U.S.
Predators-Unfortunately for the kangaroo rat, it has many predators. There are many creatures out there who would like to make a nasty meal out of this small creatures. Owls, snakes, and your bobcats, foxes, badgers, coyotes, ringtail, and your cat and dog are just a few.
One fun fact-*Kangaroo rats have pounches, but not for carrying babies. Their pounches are on the outside of their cheecks and are used for carrying seeds back to their burrows.
human affect
what would happened if we removed the desert biome from Earth ecosystem!?!?!?
Biomes are classified based on their climate and soil type. Climate of any place won't change within a few years nor will its soil type. For this impossible thing to happen, then all parts of the earth should have their precipitation and evaporation level atleast equal. Also soil should be fertile atleast for the grasses to grow. These things must first happen to change the desert biome. I don't think this not a day's or month's or year's job. It will take decades and centuries. If this happened then desert biome will be nowhere in the world. The impact of this will be the extinction of the desert species or their evolution. Fertile lands will increase and this will increase the net biomass.
