4th and 5th Grade STAAR Test
Next week our 4th and 5th-grade students will be taking the STAAR test! We have no doubt they are prepared and ready to do their very best! Please know that as a District and as Campus, we recognize that this is a one day, one test snapshot of information learned and in no way defines their success!! We know each one of our students exhibits #BAXTERSBEST qualities that allow them to reach their unlimited potential!! We are so proud of each and every one of them!!
4th-grade students will take the Writing STAAR test on Tuesday, April 9th. Please make sure that your child is on time and prepared with a great breakfast to do their best!
5th-grade students will take the Math STAAR test on Tuesday, April 9th and the Reading STAAR test on Wednesday, April 10th. Please make sure they are here on time and have had a great breakfast so they start the day off great!
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!!
CONGRATS TO MRS. SEARS
Woohoo!!! Of course, we already knew she was the best, but what an amazing honor!!! We are so Blessed to have her in our Baxter Family no doubt!!!
What's happening in the library?
Campus Character Rings!
Yellow ring celebrated with a cookie dance party on Friday afternoon!!! It was such a blast!!!
We do have a tight competition going for the last round!!
Attention 5th Grade Families!
5th-grade students enjoyed trying different band instruments out with the WGMS Band during specials last week. 5th graders interested in joining the WGMS 6th grade band need to sign up for an "audition" slot in May. No experience is necessary, this is just a time for the band directors to help students try the instruments and choose an instrument for next year. The WGMS Band sign up genius can be located at wgmsband.weebly.com.
