Message from the Principal
Hello Prairie Families,
Our students and staff enjoyed a concert put on by the Les Paul band this morning! Students were smiling and singing along the entire time. Shout out to Mrs. Wirth for setting this opportunity up for us!
Next week we have a short week! Wednesday is an early release day and students are off of school Thursday and Friday. Our teachers will be engaged in professional development so that we can best meet the needs of all of our learners.
Have a great weekend!

Principal
Staff Spotlight - Mrs. Kobriger will join us starting Monday!
Hello! My name is Kristin Kobriger. This is my 8th year teaching and my 6th year in the School District of Waukesha. I have taught kindergarten, first grade and second grade. I am thrilled to be working with first graders as a first year PUMA. I completed my undergrad at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and have received licenses for English as a Second Language and Reading. In my free time I enjoy reading, cheering on the Badgers/Packers, traveling, being active and practicing my newest hobby - hand lettering!
My husband, Kyle and I are busy adjusting to our new role as parents. Our son Graham was born in May, so needless to say we had a great summer! I got to enjoy some extra time home with him this fall, but I am excited to be back in the classroom. I am looking forward to a great rest of the school year!

Art to Remember
The personalized AtR order forms have been sent home. Please take a moment to look at your child's work as it would look printed on a variety of objects. Students worked very hard on their artwork for this fundraiser and are proud to show it off. You can order and pay online or fill out the form and return it with check/cash to Prairie. Items will be delivered in plenty of time for Holiday gift giving! Deadline for orders is November 4th.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email Mrs. Anderson, manderso@waukesha.k12.wi.us
Christmas Clearing Council
It is the time of year to distribute Christmas Clearing Council applications! For those who do not know, the Christmas Clearing Council (CCC) helps provide Christmas gifts for families who may struggle to afford gifts for their children. It is an awesome program that many families utilize each year. There are a few qualifications: you must be a Waukesha County resident AND your child must be eligible for Free/Reduced Lunch and/or meet the household income eligibility requirements. Please feel free to fill out the application (one per family), and send back to Mr. Endsley or the Prairie Office.
Applications are DUE Friday November 15, 2019.
