California Healthy Kids Survey
California School Parent Survey, 2023-2024
Angier Elementary School
Dear Parents,
Your school needs you to complete this online survey to learn more about your opinions about it. This survey is an opportunity to communicate your perceptions about your child’s school. This letter explains the survey and, at the bottom of the page, provides your URL and access instructions. If you have any questions about this survey, contact Michelle Godfrey (school counselor) at mgodfrey@sandi.net .
The purpose of this survey is to obtain parent perceptions about the school.
Your participation is voluntary. It is also very important. The information you provide will help guide district and school efforts to promote safety, enhance learning supports, and improve student achievement.
This is an anonymous survey. It is designed so that no one can be identified from the data. You do not have to respond to any questions that you feel could be used to identify you. Simply skip any such questions.
All questions apply to this school only.
The results are for the use of your district. The California Department of Education and WestEd will preserve data confidentiality and refer any data requests to the district.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR ACCESSING THE SURVEY
If you have more than one child at this school, you will only need to complete one survey for this school. Please fill out just one survey about the school using your oldest child as a reference.
Access the survey using the following URL:
Parent: https://wested.ugam-apps.com/wested/ts/o2ck (when opening the link, choose parent survey/take survey, then select language)

March is Women's History Month!
During the month of March we will be reading Love is Loud by S.N. Wallace as part of our school's commitment to encourage discussions about inclusion, equity, diversity, and culture.
School Counseling Classroom Lessons - Social Emotional Learning
During the month of March we are continuing with our Second Step Lessons. We are working on our Empathy Unit.
School Counseling Classroom Lessons - College and Career Readiness
We are encouraging students to log on to Xello.
Xello is an online program your child is using in school to help them prepare for the future. It offers a variety of activities from kindergarten to the end of high school. These activities help students build self-knowledge, explore their options, and create achievable plans. Students develop the 21st-century skills needed to thrive in the world of work.
It’s important for students to take ownership in planning for their future. Caring adults play an essential supporting role. Please use your student’s Xello account on Clever to discuss and support their future goals and plans.
Students can access their Xello accounts by logging into “Clever” through the San Diego Unified School District Portal.
