This month...
Thank you to our parents for their time and resources to help create an AMAZING learning environment for our students. We are excited to introduce them this month to our 'Learning Cafe'.

Differentiation in the classroom:
In our classrooms we are doing various activities to personalize learning in reading and in math-
Reading-
- Reading responses- some are basic and some are more critical thinking
- Implementation of book clubs, book presentations
Math-
- Pre-assessment to create an individual action plan for students ( re-teaching in small group and/or special projects)
- Math taught in small groups.

Language Arts & Social Studies
This month we'll be reading imaginative stories! In class we'll be discussing and practicing...

We'll also continue to write summaries and reading responses to our reading.
For social studies we'll be reading and analyzing important historical figures and contemporary heroes.
Math
We're introducing multiplication! Yay! Students will learn 4 strategies to help them master multiplication.
Please practice math facts daily.
