Cheetah Chatter Parent Update
Chapel District Elementary School May 14th-21st
Ending Wednesday Small Groups, Last Day for Pre-K, and CDES Summer Learning
Hello, Chapel Families-
Quarter 4 interims will be emailed home to students in grades 3-5 today. Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions about missing assignments or grades. Since this is just an interim, students still have until the end of the quarter to improve their grades.
Due to end of the year planning for CDES Summer Learning and other professional development requirements for our CDES staff, we will be ending Wednesday small group instruction for the remainder of the year. 6/2 and 6/9 will be reserved for any teachers needing to meet with students to complete missing assignments as needed for the end of Quarter 4.
The last day for Pre-K will be June 11th. Pre-K teachers will be having exit conferences on June 14th, 15th, and 17th. Teachers will contact parents at a later date to sign up for conference times. A reminder that the last day for students in grades K-5 will be June 17th, which is an early dismissal at 12:20 p.m.
The LAST PK/Kindergarten registration date is May 28th! Please call 410-822-2391 to book your registration appointment ASAP.
Thank you to our CDES families whose children were identified as priority students for our 2021 CDES Summer Learning Program. We had an overwhelming response and are currently at full capacity for the majority of our weeks. If you have any questions regarding our summer learning program, please call the school.
Have a wonderful weekend and let's finish the 2021-2022 school year #CDESSTRONG!
