-Wednesday, April 17th: English 1, Subpart 2 & 3 and Geometry; this is a Non- Traditional Day for students. On this day, only tested students will attend school. All other students will have assignments posted on Google Classroom to complete at home.
- Friday, April 19th: Algebra I, Subpart 1
-Monday, April 22nd: Algebra I, Subpart 2 and US History, Subpart 1
- Tuesday, April 23rd: Algebra 1, Subpart III and US History, Subpart 2

English III
Students in Mrs. Hamby's English III classes have been spending their time reading a fictional book of their choice. Upon completion, they have one-on-one conferences with Mrs. Hamby and design their one One Pager. The project includes two important questions about the book that will invoke higher order thinking, two songs that will be ideal for background music, two quotes or descriptive sentence from the book, an "I can relate" sentence, a summary, and a review. WWII Projects in Word History Classes
Since we can't take our classes to the National World War II Museum, Ms. Poe and Mr. Tallent's World History classes made projects to bring the museum to RCHS! Each student or groups of students picked a topic and made projects about World War II. All of these were displayed in the upper- gym for the entire school to observe and learn. Students were able to pick events or people that are not usually studied, in efforts to grow our knowledge on one of the worst periods in human history.

Spanish II Projects
For the last three years, the Spanish II classes of Mrs. Worthington and Mrs. Sessions have celebrated the Las Fallas of Valencia, Spain. The tradition began in the late 18th century when carpenters, who cleaned out workshops getting ready for spring, decided to build statues and forms from their scraps. Today, the holiday is a multi- billion euro holiday attracting people from all over the world. Multiple groups create burnable statues that represent famous people, laws, politicians, etc. and each usually has a satirical format. They also include a beautiful float in honor of the Virgen Mary de los Desamparados.
Our students try to pick a theme that they would like to take a stand against or promote. During this project, they learn about the holiday, but more than that, they learn to cooperate together, to be responsible for their portion of the project, to show up ready to work, and to listen and make group decisions.
We believe that this is a creative way for our students to express opinions and learn valuable skills that will help them be productive and effective in their future.
