WMHS Student Weekly Information
March 13 - March 17
From the Principal's Desk
I hope this finds you well, and that you had a wonderful long weekend!
Spring break is right around the corner, which also means the end of the 3rd Quarter is near. Please make sure to get those grades up as high as you can right now. Use your goal setting to get your grades up.
How is your goal setting going? Remember -- Goal Setting for Students Starts with SMART =
- Specific – What exactly do I want to happen?
- Measurable – How will I know when I am reaching my goal?
- Actionable – What actions will I take to achieve my goal?
- Realistic – Why is my goal important and what plan will I follow to reach it?
- Timely – When will I reach my goal?
Have a wonderful week!

STUDENT SENATE
A group of Student Senators participated in the KLAA leadership forum this past week. They gathered ideas from area schools on spirit events and charity work. Four of our own Wayne Memorial students presented ideas as well. Two of the WMHS students teamed with John Glenn to present our our RivalZ Week activities.
At the KLAA forum, 2021 WMHS graduate, Brooke Johnson, was invited as part of a graduate panel. She did a fantastic job speaking to the students about leadership after high school.
Two other WMHS students presented on the charity that the forum agreed to support, The Clean Love Project. To see the presentation, click on the titled picture below.
