Message from the Principal
Dear Lakewood Families,
We did it! We made it to the end of the year and with all the uncertainty, I think the staff, students and families should be proud of what we accomplished! We appreciate our parent's support with the distance learning and zoom calls. We are so proud of how many students worked each week on their assignments. For those students that completed the weekly expectations, they have been entered in a drawing and those winners will receive their prize when report cards are mailed.
This summer it is critical that your child continues to read! We have our summer reading incentive that we have included in this newsletter that you can fill out throughout the summer.
Also, this summer your child can continue to work on STMath, Zearn and Lexia. We encourage it!
Please be checking your email regularly because as soon as we have any updates or more guidance for next year we will share it.
Have a safe and healthy summer!
Thank you for your patience and support.
Mrs. Henry

Kid's Heart Challenge Information
Hello Hebron Elementary! :) We were able to raise $2,346.87 for The American Heart Association through our Kid's Heart Challenge that took place toward the end of February! Awesome job Hebron! Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, our Thank You Gifts have not been able to be shipped to school. The American Heart Association has them stored away until school resumes next year. For those students that turned in their fundraiser money I will get your Thank You Gifts to you next year when they arrive to school. Those students that are moving on to Third Grade and Jackson Intermediate will get their gifts at that time as well. If you have any questions please email Mrs. Dozer at jdozer@laca.org. Have a wonderful summer and keep moving to keep your hearts healthy!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Dozer
