Aphrodite is the goddess of beauty which is what she is mainly known for but she is also the goddess of love. She has the ability to make people fall in love with each other.
Introduction
Quote
“When Jason asked permission of the King of Colchis to remove the Golden Fleece… So the goddess Hera asked her fellow-Olympian Aphrodite to intervene. The love goddess make the king’s daughter Medea fall in love with Jason, and Madea proved instrumentals in Jason’s success” (Skidmore).
Explanation
This shows that Aphrodite is cunning because she makes Jason fall in love with Medea only for him to finish his quest because without Aphrodite manipulating the situation Jason would’ve never finished his quest. Aphrodite did this because Hera asked her to.
Conclusion
Although Aphrodite is cunning and manipulating she still uses her ability to make people fall in love for a good cause because without love there wouldn’t be life.
