Classrooms and grade levels will be participating in a wide variety of reading celebrations throughout the month. Student and staff t-shirts for this month are available for purchase HERE until February 25.
- BLACK HISTORY CELEBRATION
- At both Anderson & McGrath, each classroom is sharing information about an important person from Black History with our school community during our morning Google Meet each day. Every classroom is also decorating their classroom door to share what they are learning about the historical figure from Black History they have researched.
- We will be putting together a slide deck of these doors to share pictures once every room's presentation is complete and we'll make sure to share that with all of our families. We have loved the learning we are able to share each day so far and are looking forward to all of the new knowledge we're acquiring! Please ask your student about the door they are creating or have created in their own class.
- Mrs. Moul's class will be hosting a Living Museum celebrating famous African Americans in history on March 1. Classrooms have been invited to participate and listen to student presentations.
