Advanced Placement Exam Proctors
PTSA Members,
One of the best ways we can help our wonderful Clark staff is to proctor AP exams in May. Most are given in the gym, so there are several proctors working together. Training will be provided. You may not proctor an exam that your student is taking and background checks are required.

Library Happenings
Viva Fiesta, Viva Poetry, Viva Libraries!!
Library Lotto!
This past week, 50 poetry fans received a library lotto ticket for checking out a novel in verse or a collection of poetry! This next week, we are offering a library lotto ticket to anyone who visits the library and posts on our library board, the best activity, program, book or experience you had in our library this year. Can't wait to see what you loved!
Fiesta of Words - Poetry Celebration
April is Poetry Month!
April in San Antonio is full of celebrations and our library is celebrating two of my favorite things: poetry and school libraries! The NISD High School librarians have been working all year to organize our 2nd annual district poetry festival, specifically for high school students. We will have the winners of our district poetry contest, including Clark Junior, Bailey Erps, recite their winning pieces as well as poetry workshops from the current and former Poet Laureate of San Antonio. Published author, Laekan Zea Kemp, will speak about her journey as a poet and she will also hold a book club discussion of her novel in verse, An Appetite for Miracles. There will be plenty more activities including a cascarone hunt with prizes and an opportunity to purchase books from Nowhere Bookshop! We hope to see you at Marshall High School on Saturday, April 6th. See Mrs. Podmore for details
Students are no longer required to isolate for five days but must still be fever free for 24 hours without the help of fever reducing medication. Please review the new district guidelines here or reach out to the Clark Clinic Nurses.
MEDICATIONS
***ALL medication must be given through the clinic with physician orders, including over the counter meds like Tylenol, Advil etc. Please DO NOT send any medication to school with your student without contacting the clinic first.
