Parkview Panthers Newsletter #34
April 22, 2024
Principal's Message
Hello Panther Families,
Beginning Monday, April 22 to ensure student safety all students will sit in their lines before school. They will have the option of reading a book while waiting in line. Please encourage all students to sit in their lines. All parents, family members, and friends waiting with their child cannot be in the lines as this creates a distraction and makes it difficult for our noon duties to effectively supervise students. We appreciate your support and understanding in keeping all students safe.
As we prepare to begin local and state testing classroom volunteers will not be permitted in the classrooms due to testing security purposes. Below you will find the End-of-the-Year testing calendar that includes district and state testing dates. For more information, please contact your child's teacher.
I would like to thank our fabulous PTA for providing our students with the First Responders assembly this past Friday. What a great opportunity for our Panthers to learn about water safety as the summer season is looming ahead.
We have another exciting classroom challenge focused on improving school attendance. Our amazing parent, Mrs. Vanessa Mendez, connected with the company Cookie Plug who will be donating cookies to our two winning classes. The attendance contest will run through the month of May, the primary and upper grade class with the highest attendance average for the duration of April and May will win a box of 4 cookies per student from the Cookie Plug!
