Water Bottles
Water Filler Stations
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the Hidden Valley families and local businesses who contributed last year (2019-2020 school year) to replace all of the outdated water fountains at HVMS. This fundraiser unfortunately ended abruptly due to COVID closures, but we are happy to report that thanks to your generosity, we were able to replace all of them with updated and modern touchless water filling stations! THANK YOU!!!
A special thanks.....

Message from HVMS PTA
"It's hard to believe that the school year is almost over. With the 2021-2022 school year quickly approaching, we are looking for volunteers to serve on next year's board. We are currently in need of a president elect and several other board positions including someone to handle social media (Facebook, emails, etc.) and hospitality. If you are interested in any of these positions, please let us know, and we can provide additional information."
Disabled American Veterans Clothing Drive
Matthew Luviano, a current 7th grade student at HVMS, has decided to start a clothing drive in support of Disabled American Veterans (DAV). Beginning on Monday, April 26, we will be collecting children's clothing (ages 5-12) in the front lobby. We will collect clothing until Friday, May 7, at which point Matthew will take the donation to the Disabled American Veterans Thrift Store. Please consider donating any clothing you can to support this student's desire to help out his community!

Technology Support
We ask that parents and students direct their technical support requests to hvmtechsupport@rcps.us. This email account is intended to serve our students who are either online only or off campus when the request is sent. Students attending school should notify their teachers of any technical issues so that we may resolve those problems at school.
Please keep in mind that our IT support staff works regular school hours and that requests made after hours or during the weekend will not be addressed until those hours of operation.

Cheer Tryouts
For anyone who is interested in trying out for the 2021 Hidden Valley Middle School Cheer Team, tryouts will be after school until 5:00 p.m. starting on Monday, May 10th - Friday, May 14th. Each individual trying out will need to have a sports physical completed and on file with the front office that is dated after May 1, 2020. Additionally, each individual will need to bring tennis shoes, a T-shirt, and shorts to wear each day, and we will meet in room 316 for check in after school. For the final tryout day (May 14th), students need to have their hair up in a pony tail, black shorts, and a plain white T-shirt. I will also have the cheer information packet to send home with interested students starting next week. These packets need to be picked up in room 316 before the start of the school day, or they can be emailed to parents. All forms must be returned by the first day of tryouts. If you have any questions, please reach out to me by email at ahundley@rcps.us
