Water Scarcity

What is economic water scarcity?
Economic water scarcity is when the water that is present is contaminated and not safe to drink. Lots of water-borne diseases are living in this water, and they can be deadly. Typhoid fever and cholera are only 2 of the many diseases that people are exposed to when they drink the contaminated water. This is the only water that they have access to, so they have no other choice other than to drink it.
The Walk
Most likely, the people with economic water scarcity issues don't have water close to home. They have to walk to get water, and it may not be clean or safe to drink.
Faucets
You can't simply turn the handle on a faucet and get clean water, which the majority of the American population takes for granted.
Collecting Water
Even kids have to help collect water for their family, which means that they are missing out on an opportunity to go to school and learn.
