A Principal's Perspective
Well, we have completed the first six weeks of school! We now know the students assigned to us for the year. We know where they are academically, socially, emotionally, their strengths & weaknesses and what motivates them to engage in learning. All of this takes tremendous dedication, determination, support, patience and teamwork on our part as we get to know our students. Where do we go from here?
As students attend GP this year, what can we do as a team of educators working together for the success of each student? We will be very instrumental in students successfully crossing the finish line not only in May but as they "graduate" from 4th grade at GP. All of our students and their families are depending on us to help them grow as they experience successes and failures. This clip below is a thank you to moms. But it also can be a reminder to us that our students will need continuous support from everyone in this building to cheer, encourage, support, celebrate and set expectations of excellence to be a successful student and human being. How do you contribute to each student's success at our school?
