MESSAGE FROM MRS. MOTZNY
Dear Parents,
We have many events happening at Sampson in the month of May. Please be sure to check the Mane Tail each week, and read the weekly emails from your child's teacher. We don't want anyone to miss these special events. Also, please fill out a Student Information Sheet if you have any information that you would like for us to consider as we begin forming classes for next year. Please do not assume that we will remember special circumstances from year to year. We appreciate the reminders. We want all of our Sampson Stallions to thrive in their new home room.
Sincerely,
Heather Motzny

From the library
Where are the library books?! Look high and low! Search in cars, under beds, under couches, on bookshelves, in bathrooms, outside! You name it! All library books are due on Friday, May 13 (K - 4) and by the end of the day on Tuesday, May 17 for 5th grade. Thanks for looking!
We had wonderful bookmark contest entries to celebrate National School Library Month! Thanks to the many participants. The selection committee chose two stunning bookmarks. Congratulations to our two winners: Adam Thompson (2nd grade) and Elise Temple (5th grade). Their bookmarks are in the library for the whole school to use! (Below is their original artwork. We are printing on colored cardstock. I'll share those too!)
K - 2 Winner: Adam Thompson (Mo Willems)
3-5 Winner: Elise Temple (Read More Books)
