Happy Fall Ya'll!!
Happy first week of Fall!! I am going to miss the warm, long days of summer, but I am looking forward to cool nights, football, and all the beautiful fall colors! We have two weeks until Fall Break- can you believe it! Please stay focused and continue to encourage students to stay focused as well. We will administer Benchmarks next week. I will be emailing you the testing schedule this week. The video above is one of Eric Whitacre's Virtual Choir "performances". Thank you for sharing Ms. Galbraith! It is breathtaking!

I'm Committed To...
Don't forget- everyone is going to try teaching a lesson with a rubric this week. Here are a few tips:
1. Explicitly teach students how to use the rubric
2. Practice using the rubric with students. Practice with good examples and less than stella examples so they can practice with both!
3. Give students a copy of the rubric and teach them how to "check thier work" using the rubric!
