1). Financially Fit! Who's In?
Clean eating and body sculpting have their place, but why not add peace of mind to your lifestyle by crafting your financial routine? In addition, profitability in our business dealings will open avenues for increased giving. It's also been stated that giving is the highest level of living. Philanthropic endeavors are a value that we hold dear, so one of our goals to provide the tools for financial success! As a motivation, those who earn more can give more. And it's not about equal giving, but equal sacrifice.
Let's get in solid financial shape so that our future can be as secure as possible. Preventative measures will encourage a strong future.

- Age: 25-34 = $22,187
- Age: 35-44 = $60,528
- Age: 45-54 = $116,192
- Age: 55-64 = $177,805
- Age: 65 & older = $200,358
That may be a state of our union, but it doesn't have to define our personal situation. Here are some resources to assist on your financially fit journey:

3). Lori's Lunchbox | What Does A Registered Dietitian Have in Her Lunchbox?
Let’s take a look inside the lunchbox of our very own registered dietitian.
Lunchbox 1:
Wrap sandwich (spinach or high protein whole grain wrap) with LOTS of fresh chopped veggies and avocado slices. 3-4 oz of sliced turkey or leftover chicken and spicy mustard, 2 clementines, green tea.
Lunchbox 2:
Big bowl salad—fresh organic greens with assortment of chopped veggies, 3 hard boiled eggs-sliced, olive oil and vinegar dressing, 2/3 cup cooked quinoa, 1 Georgia peach.
Lunchbox 3:
1.5 cup greek yogurt (Siggi brand), 1 slice whole grain bread topped with 2 T. almond butter and ½ cup cut up mixed fruit.
Quick tips: Keep it clean, load up on greens, and balance protein, complex carbs and heart healthy fats with each meal!
4). Bullet Points with Brittany | Brittany Chambers, APRN
Our own Brittany Chambers, who puts on her lab coat and serves us with our medical needs, is also very active herself! She sets a great example by eating clean, staying positive, serving others and training here in the Coliseum.
There is no doubt physical training and biometric numbers go hand in hand. As a matter of fact, we can medicinally manufacture our own body. We open our internal pharmacy when we eat clean, are active 30 minutes a day 5 days a week, reduce stress and get enough sleep. We asked Brittany to give us some bullet points that are important to her. Here are her top 10:
- Plan ahead
- Enjoy your food
- Have fun
- Mix it up
- Don't get discouraged
- Start with baby steps
- Get accountable
- Stretch & hydrate
- Staying healthy over staying skinny
- Serve others

1. Wellness can mean a variety of different things to different people. Taking a look at the Live Well banner, what wellness words stand out to you the most?
"Active" and "balance" have the most meaning for me. It is so easy to allow yourself to coast and even become lazy. Staying active can make all the difference in making you feel better. And balance is the key to happiness in all aspects of life. Don't over do it. Don't under do it. I am not at my best if my approach and execution lacks balance. Spoken like a true Libra!
2. How has having a variety of wellness offerings at work made a difference for you?
There are so many great offerings, but the fitness equipment is probably the biggest difference maker for me. Having the convenience of a fitness center literally steps from my office, makes it very easy to get in there on a fairly regular basis and keep myself in reasonable shape. The Rossiter stretch therapist has also been very helpful in working out the occasional kinks, shoulder pain, muscle soreness, etc. Also, I attended the financial workshop last week and found that very helpful. It's great to see that our company has such a variety of offerings to assist.
3. What encouragement would you give other associates on accomplishing their wellness goals?
Start small and simple. Set a routine. Follow it religiously. Lean on the expertise of the trainers and instructors we have onsite. The grand staff in the Coliseum are great! Take advantage of the clean eating options in Ciao, let CareHere take care of you and keep up to speed on what all is happening around here. It's great stuff!
4. Favorite life quote?
Seize the day
5. Favorite food?
Not gonna lie. Cheeseburgers!
7). How Many Onsite Groups Fitness Classes Did You Say?
What?! That's right. We offer nearly 60 onsite group fitness classes every week! 13 of those are at the Lakehouse. The better is always in the balance and variety is key. So, we offer a wide range of styles and types of training. Yeah, we got that. For full list, click on the link below.
