Turf Grass Management
By: Alexis Martin
Turf Grass Objective
To understand growth and development of turfgrasses and the establishments and cultural practices involved in maintaining these plants. The reason some people use turf is because they dont want to mess up the real grass so they put down fake grass to make sure that the real grass stays good! The salary is up to $33,000 to $48,000. To be able to put down turf you have to know what you are doing because if you put it on wrong you have to take it up again so you have to have a good education!
Location
A lot of Sports fields have turfgrasses to be able to hit and slide because if you hit a golf ball in real grass it will tare it up but not on turf. In baseball players dive for the ball and they tare it up also but you can't tare up turf so that's why a lot of sports have turfgrasses.
