Summer News: August 6, 2020
Dear Parents,
Walk-Through Registration is one week away! Please review what you should do now to prepare for school, and what to expect at Walk-Through. Also please take a close look at the PTSA fundraisers and how they plan to use your donations to support all students during Distance Learning. The PTSA needs your support more than ever before to help create a positive year for all of our students during this challenging time. Thank you and see you next week!

Walk-Through Registration: Thursday, August 13th
Pine Hollow's Walk-Through Registration is on THURSDAY, AUGUST 13. We are streamlining the process this year to make it simpler, safer, faster, and more convenient. Here's some details to know about Walk-Through Registration:
- You can drop in any time from 8:00-11:00am or from 4:00-7:00pm.
- Please limit who attends (students do NOT need to come), and keep in mind that everyone must wear masks and maintain proper social distancing protocols.
- The purpose of Walk-Through Registration this year is to get your child's schedule, daily planner, and textbooks. You'll also have the option to check out a Chromebook, support the PTSA, and get last year's yearbook.
- This year, Walk-Through Registration is optional. If you don't feel comfortable coming onto campus, we can arrange for alternative pick-up options.
- Please check out the PTSA's fundraiser for their concierge service to make Walk-Through Registration more convenient for you this year!
PTSA to Provide Distance Learning Assistance Programs
Please support our PTSA fundraisers so we can create “Distance Learning Assistance Programs” for all of our students.
- Walk-Through Drive Up and Go Service: $25
- Walk-Through Home Delivery: $100
- Dollar-A-Day Program: $45, $90, or $180 (all donations receive entry into our Chromebook raffle!)
Donations can be made via the PTSA website: pinehollowptsa.com
ALL of your donations will go towards:
- Stipends for additional staff members to check-in with all students. These staff members will encourage and remind your children about assignments, offer academic support, answer technical questions, and check in with them about how they are feeling/doing.
- Rewards for students who excel during distance learning. The PTSA wants to recognize and reward students who regularly attend online classes, engage in their work, and turn in assignments. This will encourage students to participate and help keep them motivated.
Principal / Parent Meeting: August 4th
