Maroon Madness - Deadline for Parade Entry Forms Thursday, August 23rd...
The Uvalde Maroon Madness parade will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 6pm. Parade line-up will begin at 4:45pm at the intersection of N. Camp St. along E. Nopal St. on the First State Bank side of the street. Please do not block the intersections of N. Camp St., N. Wood St. or N. 1st St. The parade route will proceed down E. Nopal St., turning right onto Getty (U.S. 83) St. continuing to the Honey Bowl visitor’s parking lot. The festivities will continue in the Honey Bowl with Meet the Coyote & Lobo at 6:45pm inside the Honey Bowl.
The Entry Fee for the parade is $25.00 per vehicle. Parade Applications are available online at www.ucisd.net, at Central Office and at the Athletic Office. Parade Applications are due to Annette Cardenas by Wednesday, August 22nd. Parade Applications can be dropped off to the Athletic Office, emailed to acardenas2754@uvaldecisd.net or faxed to 830-591-4909.

UCISD Volunteer Trainings Offered This Week
Volunteer Trainings
As the 2018-2019 School Year kicks-off, so does the need for volunteers. Volunteers are a valued asset to our district. Individuals wishing to volunteer on campuses and with student organizations must attend a Volunteer Training and complete a background check. Three Volunteer Trainings have been scheduled for:
Wednesday, August 22nd
Monday, August 27th
Wednesday, August 29th
at 6pm in the Central Office Conference Room located at 1000 N. Getty. For more information please contact Melissa Flores at mflores4642@uvaldecisd.net or by phone at 830-278-6655. Volunteers are asked to sign up for a training session by completing the Volunteer Training Sign Up Form at the below link:

Athletic Gold Card
Athletic Gold Card Available for Pickup
UCISD invites all senior citizens to come by Central Office for a GOLD CARD and be our guest at all UCISD athletic events. To qualify for the GOLD CARD, residents must be 65 or older.
The purpose of The GOLD CARD is to honor senior citizens for being dedicated supporters in our community. The GOLD CARD will provide FREE admission to all UCISD athletic events at district facilities.
Coyote Football Season Tickets on Sale
Season Tickets are now available to purchase for past season ticket holders. Tickets will be available to the general public beginning Monday, August 13th.
There will be five (5) home varsity games, the price for reserved tickets $8.00 per game, for a total cost of $40.00 per season ticket price.
All reserved tickets will be sold at the Athletic Dept. Please note, first varsity home game is Friday, August 31st at 7:30pm against Eagle Pass.
