A message from the principal
Greetings Wilson Families,
Happy New Year! 2023 will be a great year! As I reflect on the start of the school year, I am so proud of our Whirlwinds and all of their hard work. I am proud of our Wilson staff and the care they give to our Whirlwinds each and every day. I feel honored to be part of our Wilson community. Thank you for all you do as parents/guardians for your students and our school. If you ever have ideas on how to make Wilson even better, please join us at our PTCO meetings or reach out. Our next meeting is Thursday, January 19th from 6:30-8:00. Childcare is available for free.
Sincerely,
Chris Forrest
Important message from Wilson
Wilson Read-a-thon fundraiser begins February 1st
Read-a-thons actually get your reader excited about reading and it gives friends and family the opportunity to encourage your child to read even more.
Our Read-a-thon starts Wednesday February 1, 2023. About one week before our Read-a-thon starts we will send home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.
We encourage you to activate your reader’s account today by clicking on https://www.read-a-thon.com/readers/r/TowKms/1 and following the simple instructions.
We've chosen Read-a-thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.
We hope EVERYONE participates.
Thanks so much,
