Jordan's First Retreat
Thank you for a fun and engaging retreat Saturday! We had the opportunity to meet our team members, get to know each other, and learn about our school's namesake, Mr. H. Rhodes Jordan. The Lawrenceville Mayor and daughter of Mr. Jordan, Mayor Judy Jordan Johnson, joined us and shared more of the family history and her service to Lawrenceville. As the day drew to a close, we shared information about upcoming events and summer planning time. Everyone was able to order spirit wear and leave with their homework assignment.
If you were not able to join us, follow these directions to access via our school webpage,
jordanms.org, go to the "Our Team" tab dropdown at the top of the screen and click on "Team Login", password is goknights.
Jordan Retreat Agenda
I was so excited about our day together, that I didn't review our learning targets for the day nor did I do a self assessment to make sure you could meet your targets. We still need to learn about TAS and SWP for Title I. We will move this learning activity to another agenda. Please review the learning targets below and determine if you have met each learning target:
I can identify my team members by name.
I can identify my content team members by name.
I can state the Jordan motto.
I can identify my own strengths and the strengths of my team.
I can use my own device to order my JMS Charter Member Shirt.
I can use my own device to retrieve a variety of activities.
I can explain the difference between TAS and SWP.

Protocols
Here are two websites that can provide you access to some of the protocols we used today and some we will use in the future. The community building protocols are great for classrooms, as well.
