Mission Statement
A quality Fine Arts education is essential to a well-rounded education for every child. Students that participate in the Arts are able to explore their passions and develop the creativity that is vital to every student's growth. Fine Arts teachers in Little Elm ISD are committed to the district's vision to Engage, Equip, and Empower each student to realize their full potential.
Let's promote LEISD Fine Arts on Social Media!
A Note from Mr. Felice
Teachers,
As we look beyond our UIL, TAEA, and various other assessments this Fall, it is very important that we plan for Curriculum updates during the summer. If you are going to assist with Curriculum writing, please let me know. You will also need to complete this Curriculum Writing Questionnaire. If you are new to this process and would like to attend the training on May 28-30, please indicate that in the questionnaire also. I look forward to working with each of you, as we complete Stage 1 and all Storyboards for Fine Arts this summer!

March Student Spotlights
Congratulations to Carson Samples at LEHS!
"Carson was originally cast as a minor non-speaking role in our UIL One Act Play, "Tartuffe". Due to a last-minute drop from the show, Carson was quickly promoted to the titular role and learned the lead's lines and blocking in a short three weeks. All this led to him playing the lead at our UIL Zone Competition on March 20th. Carson has proven his dedication to the department and his reliability as an actor. He absolutely needs to be recognized for this. 💚"
Congratulations to Brooklynn Shady at Brent Elementary School!
"Brooklynn is a 5th grade student at Brent Elementary who is a true leader in her school. Through her actions, she demonstrates Lobo pride in choir and music, as well as the academic classroom. She is a student who I can ask to help out in class and know that she will succeed in whatever task is given to her. She is a star student with a positive attitude! Brooklynn is a true example of a student who deserves recognition for her efforts in the Fine Arts."
March Teacher Spotlight
Congratulations to Casi Curington, our LEISD Fine Arts Teacher Spotlight!
Casi Curington is the Choir Director at Strike Middle School. She is an outspoken voice for Music Education, serving as a leader on both the Fine Arts Advisory Team and as Department Chair at Strike Middle School. Mrs. Curington has seen tremendous growth in her students this year, as all three choirs that performed at UIL Concert and Sightreading Assessment obtained higher ratings than ever before, with her Varsity Choir receiving a Sweepstakes! Mrs. Curington also had three students make the TCDA Middle School All-State Choir in 2024, after one made the prestigious ensemble in 2023.
Congratulations, Casi Curington, on being our LEISD Teacher Spotlight!

In an effort to provide safety and security for all students in LEISD, the district requires that parent volunteers complete an annual background check. The application used for this check is called VOLY, which is NEW for 2023-2024. The link is provided below.
THANK YOU for being willing to volunteer of your free time for the students in Little Elm ISD!
