Great things are happening at WCS!

Students learned correct paddling techniques, participated in ocean canoe expeditions, and worked on reflective art projects. It was an excellent chance to come together as a group and create some shared memories!

LINES FROM THE LIBRARY
Welcome back to school and to great library books! By now, WCS students have visited the library with their classes. Our focus this week has been the amazing Bath Book Bash that is taking place this Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Patten Free Library in Bath. We have read books by authors and illustrators who will be at the Library Park and discussed fun events taking place. I hope to see many Wildcats there!
ODYSSEY OF THE MIND
Odyssey of the Mind (OM) is an after school activity that takes place weekly from January through March onsite at WCS for students interested in using creative approaches towards problem solving. Teams of 7, supervised by one or two coaches per team, chose one of the problems from OM and work to solve that problem in a unique way. The 4th/5th and 6th grade teams will continue on this year, in order to offer the program to additional students in grades k-3 we are seeking volunteer coaches. If you are interested in learning more and volunteering please reach out to Anita Lichman at
