This Week at MHS
March 25-29th
Dear MHS Parents and Students,
We have recevied a request from New Providence Church to remind our students that the church parking lot is private property and not an extension of MHS's parking areas. If you are currently using their lot as a parking spot, please be aware that you may receive a ticket for parking in that location.
This is a unique school week. Juniors will take the ACT on Tuesday (Sophomores and Seniors are digital) and Friday is a School Holiday. Please also mark your calendars for April 8th - as we will dismiss two hours early due to the eclipse. All students will be expected to leave campus at dismissal. Afternoon rehearsals and sports practices may begin no earlier than 4pm.
Junior Parents - all juniors will be taking the ACT on Tuesday, March 26th at school. This ACT is provided free of charge to all students in their junior year and is an outstanding opportunity for our students. Please mark this date on your calendar! Any students who miss school this day will be pulled from class to take the make-up exam. Once the exam is complete, students will report to third period and continue their day.
Due to the size of the junior class and the need for quiet testing space, Sophomores and Seniors will be DIGITAL on March 26th. Attendance will be taken through a written assignment that will be due at the end of each class period.
Breakfast and Lunch will be available for 10th and 12th graders at these times:
7:45-8:15am Breakfast in the cafeteria

Check-outs should be held to a minimum and are limited to the following:

The checkout note must include the student’s full name, date, time of dismissal, phone number where parent/guardian can be reached for verification, and signature of the parent/guardian.
- The parent/guardian comes to the main entrance office to sign the student out.
Students who become sick during the school day must report to the assistant principal’s office/school nurse before they call home.
