The Parent Information Night has been scheduled for 6:00pm on the night of Wednesday, March 6th, in the Lecture Center. This is your opportunity to hear the same information students were given during their school presentation and know the guidelines for the course selection process and course offerings. We would be happy to answer any of your questions.
Referendum Fact of the Week!
Each week from now until April 2, we’ll take this opportunity to educate our families on the upcoming Operating Referendum.
The Williams Bay School District has established a tradition of excellence and we want to protect a first class education for our children. The Williams Bay School District produces the most well-rounded students in Walworth County and the state of Wisconsin. Our students are provided with small class sizes and individualized instructional opportunities. They are given access to high quality curriculum and instruction and are provided a safe and secure learning environment. They can take numerous AP courses, courses through Gateway, UW-Whitewater and other institutions of higher learning, and a rich array of courses offered through virtual programs. 70 students have earned 3 or more college credits from Gateway since the Fall of 2022 saving over $22,000 in tuition costs. They have access to numerous sports, clubs, and enrichment programs. They are provided leadership opportunities and actively volunteer throughout the community. A high quality education has enabled our graduates to be accepted into Stanford, MIT, Yale, and Swarthmore, along with approximately 20% of our graduates attending UW-Madison each year. Additionally, it has allowed students to earn prestigious scholarships including Herb. If voters do not approve the operating referendum on April 2, 2024 ballot, the Board will need to reduce expenditures in the 2024-2025 budget by $1.5 million and increase class sizes, eliminate of course offerings, reduce co-curricular offerings, reduce staffing, and make other reductions that impact the quality of education in the Williams Bay School District.

March Madness for Lakeland Animal Shelter
The Elementary Student Council is going to sponsor a "change only" drive for Lakeland Animal Shelter. We are going to hold this drive from March 11-20, 2024. Each homeroom will have a bucket for change. The Student Council has created a bracket. We will let students know how each homeroom is doing over the course of the week and a half. Unlike the NCAA March Madness, the standings will be regularly updated meaning the only total which will be used to declare the winner will be announced after March 20. The winning homeroom will receive a treat! Again, this is a "change only" drive.
Let the Madness Begin!!!
