January 2023 Newsletter
Welcome to the New Year!
Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed your Christmas and you were able to relax over break with your family and other loved ones! I loved seeing all the pictures on how everyone spent their holidays!
We are exited to start the new year on the right note. The students will spend the first week coming up with New Year's Resolutions that will make them a better person- both inside and outside the classroom. I challenge your children to come up with resolutions that may be challenging, but also will help them achieve a goal they have this year.
What's happening this month?
Here are important dates to mark in your calendar:
January 5th- field trip to Charlotte's Web
January 11th- $1 dress down day
January 29th- Feb 4th- Catholic School's Week
Snow Read Aloud
This month, the students will research about snow to understand what it is and why it happens every winter. Here is an optional read aloud that helps children understand how snow is formed.
THE STORY OF SNOW Read Aloud Book For Kids
Classroom Christmas party! The students decorated their own Christmas tree and ate delicious snacks!
