Thank you to PTO and parents
With their help, Preschool has added a new Construction Building Center with foam bricks, shovels, a wheel barrow, hard hats and more, giving students a chance to try their hand at being builders. This new Learning Center quickly became a new class favorite.
In addition, thanks to the PTO's generous gift to our classroom, Preschoolers were introduced to coding with new 2 new robots. The students love interacting with "Botley" and we are amazed by how much they have already learned about multistep code and direction.
Thank you parents for all of the trash bags, candy, soup and more that you have sold and all that you have donated, which has given our students such a rich learning experience. We couldn't be more grateful to our PTO and our dedicated parents!

Look for God in every day experiences
“ People see God every day; they just don’t recognize him,” Pearl Bailey
For one week the 7th-graders wrote down each evening one example of where they saw God that day. At the end of the week, the students chose one example to share.
I saw and experienced God many times throughout this week. One particular example is that almost every day after lunch when we head outside for recess, most of the time the same person holds the door for everyone. It is not just one or two days, but almost every day starting from the beginning of the year. It is very kind and is something that Jesus would do considering that the person doesn’t have to do that every day. In conclusion, that is one way I saw God this week. Madison Wanstrath I saw God in my brother's daughter Kate. Seeing her made me think about life and how precious it is. It also showed me that I need to live my life and be a better person and help others in need. Evan Flaspohler I saw God in McDonald's on McTeacher's night. I saw all of the teachers taking time to work and help raise money for the school. I saw all of the families there to help raise money for St. Louis. I saw the McDonalds workers helping the teachers run the restaurant. Everyone came together to visit their friends and families and support the school.
I saw God in many ways this past week. Mainly I saw God on the way to Bloomington. It was very nice to see all the blossoming trees and to breathe all the fresh spring air. There were a lot of purple trees that were unlike anything I have ever seen. It was also very nice after all the rain that week to be in the sunshine. Seeing all of God’s creation and how beautiful it was really helped me to be happy and relax. Sadie Waschmann
My Family had a fight. My sister was sad and angry and mom helped her calmed down. Also, I was upset, and my dad calmed me down. I think God was using my parents to help us stop fighting. Lea Cossentino
Kindergarten Chicks
As always, it’s such a great learning experience for all! We had a total of 24 chicks hatch and want to thank the Meer Family and Mathew John for their donations to our program.
