Bobcat DASH!
From our Bobcat DASH Committee
Hello Lakeview Leaders!
We can’t believe Bobcat Dash is next week, but we are so excited for it! We have some fun ideas planned for lunch that will focus on our character trait of the day, and we are looking forward to motivating and celebrating all the kids hard work while having some fun too!!
This year, we are changing things up slightly. We are NOT going to have dress up days to go along with the day’s character trait…instead, we will be doing daily contests to hopefully stir up a little friendly grade level competition! This is where we would like to ask again for your help. We want to use Remind 101 as a way to communicate the different days/contests with the parents, and we would love it if you could help us by sending out these reminders to your classes next week.
The dates are as follows:
10/30 Monday is Dependable. The class/grade with the highest dollar amount donated on Monday wins EXTRA RECESS!
10/31 Tuesday is Able. The class/grade with the most participation wins a POPCORN PARTY!
11/1 Wednesday is Sincere. The class/grade with the most spirit sticks wins a POPSICLE PARTY!
11/2 Thursday is Humble. The class/grade with the most participation on Thursday wins EXTRA RECESS!
11/3 Friday is Dash Day! Wear your Bobcat Dash shirt. Your child will be dashing during his/her specials time.
Our hope is that these new contests will add an additional element of excitement and fun to the week, and you all can help us in motivating your students!!
Please let us know if you have any questions!
Again, we appreciate and thank you all so much for supporting us and helping make this the best Bobcat Dash week yet!!

TTESS Pre-conference Form
As we are finishing up our goal setting confernces, we can begin looking forward to TTESS observations. Below is the Pre-conference lesson planning form you will use during your TTESS Pre-conference. It also looks similar to last year, but we adjusted a few questions to ponder so they align better with our Problem of Practice and Instructional Focus.

The Teacher 50 - Reflect and Win!
Congratulations to Gailanne for winning the raffle for last week.
What new ideas have I tried in my classroom lately to keep myself energized about teaching?
"This Summer I participated in the book study how to teach like a pirate. I try daily to channel my inner pirate and be energized for my students. If I'm excited about what we are learning then they will be too. We had flashlight reading one morning. On fridays I started wonder stations similar to goi to the wonder room. The kids love the free exploration of building and creating together. Just this week our class collaborated with Mrs. Osowsky's class during science. The excitement and. Us in the room while sharing what they knew of living and nonliving was energizing."
Gailanne - come on down to the office to choose your prize:)
