Greetings BMHS Families
As we approach the end of the first semester and I reflect on the first half of the year, I want to share with our BMHS families how grateful I am to serve our wonderful students, staff, and community. Our staff and students exhibit a high commitment to excellence day in and day out, and have shown magnificent resilience through difficult times. We are proud and grateful of the support shown over these past few months.
On January 13th the Board of Education unanimously voted to remain in Distance Learning through term 3, which ends on March 26. As we move forward in our distance learning model, BMHS is committed to continuing to find ways to build relationships and provide opportunities for our students to engage with their academics successfully.
The first day of semester 2 is January 25th. We will continue with our current distance learning schedule for term 3, which can be seen here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1INHYOAAjnJ9HAyPwfRnXNj66SZpy_mDEd6yM_PgIxKA/edit?usp=sharing.
Students can expect to receive welcome information from their term 3 teachers next week.
Thank you again for your ongoing support and dedication!

YEARBOOK NEWS!
On January 28 during the last few minutes of block 1, the Yearbook staff will collect students' portraits. This year we're asking students to take the photo themselves, or have a family member take it, using their device (phone, iPad, or laptop). iPad users will need to use Safari as the browser. Students need to be school-portrait-ready on January 28. On that morning, the Yearbook staff will send out the link that students will use to take their portrait. Students will need to log in using their Student ID number. This can be located on Skyward. The Yearbook staff will reject photos that are not appropriate. This does not apply to students who have already emailed or uploaded a portrait for use in the yearbook. Students who enrolled at BMHS later than November 5 will not be able to log in. They can send a photo to bfink@sdb.k12.wi.us.
