Tyngsborough Recreation Offering for Violinists
What I am Reading?
"The central premise of this book is that many of modern society’s strategies for nurturing children are in fact backfiring – because key twists in the science have been overlooked. NurtureShock has been featured on Good Morning America, Nightline, All Things Considered, Fresh Air, and in Newsweek."
It also includes the early work of Carol Dweck (Mindset) in explaining the way people progress further through hard work and determination (grit).
It has made me think about how I treated my own children as they grew up. Highly recommended!
