Glows
Thank you to second grade for organizing the Potluck Breakfast for Friday. I'm sad I missed it but it looked fun and it is always great when everyone can together on a non-student day.
Lastly, part of creating strong students is attending to more than just academic needs. There are so many great things going on each day that transcend just academics. This includes teachers writing good news referrals, spending time to talk character each week, checking in with students each morning, practicing mindfulness, and even taking the time to set SEL and behavior goals for students/classes. I am proud to know you all.

Focus on the pie charts (Green and Blue are considered proficient). If the projections hold up, we would see a sizable dip in CAASPP scores over last year. Our projections last Winter were also lower and our students and teachers did the work to see some spring growth and that was reflected in our CAASPP scores in 2019. I expect we will be able to see the same progress between now and CAASPP.

Also, thank you for allocating time for students to wash hands. I know it can be time consuming and messy but it is important. Lastly, please avoid asking parents for table wipes. I appreciate your help during this period!
