Professional Development Day- January 4
Monday, January 4 is our Professional Development Day. Breakfast will be in the lounge at 7:45 am. I have ordered breakfast from Subway and will have fruit and juice as well. We will meet in the library beginning at 8:00 am. I have some information to share regarding ICLE (International Center for Leadership in Education) regarding Rigor, Relevance, and Relationships. (All buildings will be sharing this information sometime in January---probably on January 4.) I REALLY enjoyed my workshop on December 16. North School is primed and ready....what we talked about on the 16th and what we will talk about on January 4 is what is exciting about teaching to me! I can't wait to share it with you! I am playing how much of it we do by ear....I want everyone to have some quality time to work on matching instruction to the standards...that is important work too. What we don't get to on the 4th, we will finish on our Early Release Day on January 13.
I will be around to grades 3-5 once we start working on matching instruction to standards and share with you the data from the CDT tests. I'll email the login screen to grades 3-5, but be sure you have your password.

You may watch the videos at your convenience by logging in to your SchoolWires account. (If you experience trouble logging in to SchoolWires please contact Jan Lange at 659-3121). Once you have signed in, you can view the videos by selecting the "District Departments" drop-down menu, then selecting "Human Resources", and then finally the "Staff Training Videos" on the left side of the page. Once you have finished watching all required videos, you will log in to TalentEd Records and submit the completion form that is in your "Needs Attention" task list.
As a reminder, TalentEd Records functions best in Google Chrome. Your user name is your firstname.lastname and your password is what you use to log in to your computer each day.
