Mrs. Carroll:
We will be reviewing how to read rubrics in order to understand the expectations of assignments as well as starting our next e2L unit over persuasive writing/marketing
Mrs. Beam & Mrs. Parker:
We will be working on our e2L, “Journey to NASA”, focusing on space careers. Students will be completing their story outline and beginning illustrations. Students should come to class each day with Chromebooks charged and ready to go!

Students will be putting their final touches on their Integer Operations e2L unit. Presentations will begin on Tuesday, November 1st. The final product and presentation will be used as a test grade. We will also spend the week reviewing integers, decimals, and fractions before moving to our next unit over ratios, rates, and percents.

This week, students will be reviewing integers, decimals, and fractions. We want to make sure students have a strong understanding before we move to our next unit that covers ratios, rates, and percents.

This week we will conclude Unit 3 with a test on Tuesday.
We will begin Unit 4: Geometry on Wednesday.
Geometry is a seven week unit. Please remember to take advantage of tutoring time and academic lab time for any questions or extra practice!

We will be finishing our Paper Quilling project and starting our next unit focusing on color! If you did not purchase an art kit, please purchase a Prang Watercolor set. Students will need these for this unit.
Beginning Band ~ Mr. Sypert
We are beginning to prepare our winter concert music. Please mark your calendars for the mandatory after school rehearsals here at SMS. Winter Concert is at 6:30pm on December 6th in the BHS Auditorium.
Friday December 2, and Monday December 5 from 4-5:45pm.
