Baseball
History of baseball: The history of baseball in the United States can be traced to the 18th century, when amateurs played a baseball-like game by their own informal rules using improvised equipment. The popularity of the sport inspired the semipro national baseball clubs in the 1860s. During the civil war a rumor began flying around that Abner Doubleday started baseball, but in reality baseball as we know it probably was first documented by Alexander Cartwright. The answer to the question of who started baseball is still unanswered and will likely remain that way.
Equipment You Need: Glove, cleats, cup, batting gloves, baseball pants and what ever position gloves you need like outfield glove, catchers glove and first base glove but you don't really need it.
Positions: The positions are Catcher, pitcher, first base, second base, short stop, 3rd base, right field, center field, and left field.
Bats: My favorite bats are either Easton, DeMarini, or Louisville slugger. because they look good and they make the ball go farther. if you were to get one of these bats get a composite because it makes a cool sound and it make the ball 2x father. because Aluminum bats sound bad and don't make the ball go far. also it hurts your hand if you don't have Batting gloves.
Pitchers Abilities: The pitcher is one of the most important players in the game. the pitcher can confuse the batter by throwing different pitches. such as the, 2 seam, 4 seam, Curve ball, knuckle ball, splitter, changeup. my favorite pitch is the 12-6 curve ball even if I don't know how to throw it. the 12-6 goes 12 degrees and drops 6 degrees. its a scary pitch.
Best Players: The best players that were in the Major Leagues were Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Derek Jeter, Ty Cobb, and Roberto Clemente. they are one of the best players that ever made it and they had the most RBI's, Homeruns and Grandslams.
