SCIENCE OLYMPIAD - SOUTH MACOMB TOURNAMENT RESULTS
On Saturday, March 25th, Emerson's Science Olympiad team participated in the South Macomb tournament. Everyone's hard work and dedication really paid off! Emerson placed 10th overall out of 25 schools. Here's how the team did in each event:

M-STEP TESTING!
It is extremely important that your child be at school and on time on the main testing dates listed below because make up testing may be a challenge. Please bring ear buds or headphones.
You can help your child to do his/her very best on this test by:
- Being in school on days of testing
- Getting a good night’s sleep before testing
- Eating a healthy breakfast
- Bring their iPad to school fully charged
- Reminding your child to ask the teacher questions if they do not understand test directions
- Reminding your child to ask the teacher questions regarding the technology features if they are unclear
- Telling your child to take their time and double check their answers
- Telling your child to be confident in their ability
- Encouraging your child to do their best

NO PHONES, SMART WATCHES OR ELECTRONIC DEVICES ALLOWED IN THE ROOMS DURING M-STEP!
If needed devices should be turned completely off and properly stored in a back pack during testing!
CAMP DOOLEY INFORMATION
Dear Parents,
We are planning our summer childcare, Camp Dooley, which will be available for 3-year-olds (who are fully potty trained) through current 2nd grade students.
When: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Dates: June 19 - August 17 (Camp is closed July 3-5)
Location: Dooley Center, 16179 Canberra, Roseville
Registration Fee: $60/one child or $75/family
Cost: $5.25/hour, billed weekly in advance
Register: Complete the steps on this page.
Once ALL forms are completed and returned to the office, you will be given a link to complete registering with our billing department. Once that process is complete and registration fees are paid, your child will be placed on the Camp Dooley list for the days specified at registration.
We look forward to spending a fun-filled summer with your child!
