Welcome to Our House "Where Character Matters"
Dear Botsford Families,
As we enter the final stretch of the school year please keep student safety in mind especially before and after school at arrival and dismissal. On beautiful weather days, not that we have had many of these days lately, crossing our bus loop safely is the last thing our Bobcats are thinking about. I truly believe in the saying "it takes a village to raise a child" and I thank you in advance for your help and patience in and around our parking lots.
The MStep schedule is posted below. Please note one change since last week's newsletter. Our 5th graders are tested over 2 weeks and have four different testing sessions. Parents can help their children by:
- Make sure that your students attends school on testing days. We test in the mornings only.
- Make sure your child gets a good night's sleep.
- Either provide a balanced breakfast at home or have your child eat breakfast at school.
- Encourage your child to do their best on the test. Let your child know that you are confident that they will do well.
Donations of MStep drinks and snacks are greatly appreciated. We are asking for donations of bottled water, boxes of granola bars, pretzels, goldfish crackers or a similar healthy snack. All donations can be brought to the office.
