Shout Outs
- S. Somerall for planning and organizing our book giveaway. Additional thanks to members of the literacy team for their assistance. Parents have expressed sincere gratitude and students have been over the top while shopping for books.
- Gabbi Rhue, DFES class of 2011, of organizing last Wednesday's senior walk. The seniors both laughed and cried when reflecting on their time as Foxcubs. The were grateful for the response from both students and staff. This will become a new tradition moving forward.
- F. Myers for her leadership in organizing and planning last week's spring showcase. Additional shout out to all students who showcased their musical talents that inspired us through song and dance.
- C. Sommers, S. Beckman, M. Reid, M. Newmyer, J. Reed, M. Ridgeway, S. Cope, A. Newman, and our teachers for their respective contributions for our final tag ceremonies.
- 4th grade upcycling projects. Students repurposed items that would have been discarded and found new uses for said items. Items were sold with proceeds benefiting a social action cause.

Brief Meeting Tuesday
We will meet with all certified staff briefly on Tuesday at 3:15 in the cafeteria.
Early Release Schedules Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- We will not have related areas for the 3 half days.
- Breakfast and bag lunches will be served on June 6th, June 7th, and June 8th.
- 9:15 - Kindergarten
9:25 - First
9:35 - Second
9:45 - Third
9:55 - Fourth
10:05 - Fifth
Bag lunches will be eaten in class.
Dismissal is 10:40 a.m. We will officially make announcements at 10:35 a.m.
Event Information
5th Grade Graduation
Our fifth graduation has is a thoughtful ceremony as we celebrate our seniors as they transition to middle school. This is also our highest attended event each year without question. We will need ALL faculty and staff members to utilize rear parking (unless there is medical excuse) to accommodate visiting families.

Student Send Off
We began a tradition several years ago that we send out students off for the summer. This includes faculty and staff members not on duty holding signs, waving pom-poms, and wishing students a great summer.
Faculty and staff line up on both sides of the front lobby for bus riders and then head to the car rider line.

Our entire faculty and staff will convene for lunch Friday. Marco's Pizza (we will have pizza to accommodate all diets) and Zorba's Salad. See you all then!
