FROM THE PRINCIPAL...
Happy New Year! We hope that everyone had a relaxing and fun-filled Winter Break. We are excited to see what this new decade has to offer our amazing students at Crossroads South. As always, please continue to watch for our daily updates in the new PARENT "HUB". As we head into the winter weather months, this will be a great tool for any last-minute changes due to inclement weather.
In addition, be sure to have all of your information updated on GENESIS with any new contacts, etc.
Sincerely,
Ms. Capes

- SCHOOL STARTS AGAIN: School will be in session on Thursday, January 2nd and Friday, January 3rd. These are both full days of school.
- CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR MUSIC DEPARTMENT: We want to extend our sincere congratulations to our entire music department for a wonderful winter concert season. Each and every concert was a true highlight of our incredible program, talented students, and encouraging teachers. We cannot wait to hear the progress between now and the Spring! **Stay tuned for some additional exciting news coming from our Music Department!**

ONGOING REMINDERS
- SPRING SPORTS: It is not too early to make sure you have the proper physical forms completed and ready for the start of our spring season. Please make those appointments with your pediatrician so there is no delay in registration or participation. ATHLETIC SPORTS PAGE
- 4:15 PM LATE BUSES: This year we have two runs for late buses. We added a 4:15 pm late bus run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Late busses are for students involved in organized sports, scheduled activities, or for anyone staying to watch a game. This is not by choice. There are no late buses on days when scheduled events/activities are not taking place. **PLEASE NOTE: These runs do not drop students at the regular bus stops. They have satellite drop off locations. CLICK HERE for the 4:15 PM drop locations. ***
- 5:15 PM LATE BUSES: The 5:15 pm late buses will run each day of the week, Monday - Friday. Again, these buses are for students involved in organized sports, scheduled activities, or for anyone staying to watch a game. This is not by choice. There are no late buses on days when scheduled events/activities are not taking place. **PLEASE NOTE: These runs do not drop students at the regular bus stops. They have satellite drop off locations. CLICK HERE for the 5:15 PM drop locations. ***
- SPORTING EVENTS: Students are invited to stay after school to watch sporting events and to cheer on our athletes. Regardless of the ending time of the event, students can either take the 5:15 pm late bus home or they can be picked up. Either way, all student spectators must be picked up no later than 5:15 pm. If a student wants to stay past this time, they must be accompanied by an adult in order to stay. Again, all rides must be at the school by 5:15 pm. As a reminder, students must register with our security staff and cannot leave the school campus to go to Pierre's Deli at any time.
- AFTER SCHOOL TRAFFIC: Our school is an active place after school. Given such, we are asking everyone to be very careful during after school pick up and obey the clear traffic pattern. No cars are permitted in the bus lanes during the after school time. Parking can occur in the back of the school and in the front.
